supremo italiano....100% olive oil ! Please help

Hi all,
I am new her, i started to make soap few months ago, i bought Supremo Italiano brand 100%olive oil, i thought i got a great deal, i made 4 small batches with 5 % supefating, after 4 weeks of curing, i checked them with phenolphthalene, and they are lye heavy....I checked my calculations, they all look good..did anyone ever used thar brand, this has no smell or tast of an olive oil! is that typical for a 100% olive oil that is not virgin

Hi Yafa
I'm not familiar with the brand; but an oil that is not virgin, normally does have smell and taste; though it is milder.
maybe you could post your recepe?

It might help if you post the exact weights of all the ingredients you used. Another question is are you sure your weights were accurate and not off? (Sometimes scales need to be zeroed out off to be accurate.)
