Hey Chrissy, U B just down the road from Top Cat I think. One day we three could get together to do a Trade Fair and toast the sun setting on the harbour .Maybe 2010 ?

Okays so we can sign that one in soap if Top Cat agrees although 2010 is the soonest I can imagine that we could manage .Also my younger sister in Sydney who has http://www.candlesbymail.com.au/ has been heard muttering about opening another shop with her towells and soaps in so maybe that would be something to interest you. She lives at Bankstown so that is a little closer to you than me.

Careful now, I could just be tempted one of these days to find one of those cheap air fares.I am only 1 and a bit hours from our Jet airport.

Then again maybe the cheap airfares would bring you girls up here to Urangan Harbour .Then a hop skip and a jump up to my place for a sleep over and soapy girl talk. Or maybe come up for My May Mini festival both of you and show your soaps.

You betcha!! Anything for macadamia nuts and a chance to soak in your bath!!! I showed DH your bath and told him I wanted one just like it. He said the mountain view may take some doing though.

i resolve not to by anything made in china for 1 FULL year, no matter how much cheaper it is-i'd rather do without!

i resolve to support my locally owned and operated independent bakery, pharmacy and grocery stores.

i resolve to intentially look at the labels for made in the usa, canada, mexico, taiwan, europe, australia, india and other free nations.

how can i expect people to buy my hand made (therefore more expensive than walmart) soap, when i do not do the same?

i went into our local bakery and told the owner that i was no longer supporting walmart and will be shopping there-after i bought 3 loaves of heavenly-fresh bread, she put in an extra 1/2 dozen potato rolls, and thanked me for my support! my husband goes to town at least once a week, and it's next to the post office-so no extra gas.

it's TIME i thought of where my money is going and what's being done with it.

'nuff said!

You really got me on this one. I think you may just have started a movement.
Just imagine first you declare it so to us Soapers.
A lot of us have been influenced .We tell others about your comments ,they take it on ,etc.
I mean so much would change.
I imagine that in the ripple effect it will have quite a few people planting even in balcony pot plants.
Then with extra gardens and less cash I could visualise some peoples older realatives offering to help garden .(just where it's feasable of course.) Then guess what , you have a slow return to older people being revalued again.
Heartsong everything starts some where and you have just been that somewhere for this me thinks.
Of course I forgot to mention that in all this Natural Soap will Rule Supreme.
