Pure coconut oil. Scented with nature's garden Tonka&Tobacco. Half contains ZCS the other half does not. Soaped at 100° and it was to hot🤦🏿‍♂️

It should come out brown and white. But, I'm just not seeing it😳😬🤞🏿

Forgot the sodium gluconate🤦🏿‍♂️

So, the chemically smell of the ZCS has eaten the Tonka & Tobacco fragrance. 😭

Anyone know the odds that it'll fade away in 6 weeks and the fragrance oil returns?
The ZCS accent scent is thankfully gone 🎉🎉🎉
The brown never really fully developed though😭

Edit: crossed out my typo

I made soap this morning in the new mold.

ZNSC using HO sunflower oil instead of olive. .5% sodium gluconate, 1.9% sea salt. 1.7% baking soda. 2% sorbitol. 1Tbs arrowroot powder. 2% Jasmine, 2% neroli, 2% lavender. 3% tumeric infused oil for the orange, 3% Alkanet root infused oil for the purple.

Oil temp 100°, lye water 122°. Final batter temperature 78° 😳 CPOP ongoing😬

I managed to replicate my feathered mantra entry finally 😁

I made another loaf of HO sunflower oil soap with faux seawater, 1.5% sorbitol, .5% sodium gluconate, 5% lavender, 1tsp oakmoss lavender oil per kilo of oil, 5% lavender essential oil, 1 TBS arrowroot powder, 10% Alkanet root infused sunflower oil. The lye water was 200° and the oils were 87°. Together they became 120°instead of the 130-150 I was hoping for🤦🏿‍♂️ took a lot of SB to get to light trace.

It's been in the oven for 3 hours now.

Hopefully the cut occurs before this bug takes me all the way to bed.

Something's lodged under the silicone. I missed it before pouring in the batter. So, I'm gonna have a shim shaped piece of soap after the cut🤦🏿‍♂️
