Love to see you catch an emu Karen . I love avocado, try Woolies when they have it on special.
You Australian people make me laugh...I would love to visit!!! I used to do Ultrasound for a living. I was offered a job there in 1999. One of the physician's that I worked with in the states told me that it was a place where everyday I would wake up and see something different that I would never see in the states. I couldn't accept the offer because my dad was ill and I couldn't resolve the price that it would cost to come home if something would happen. I am going to visit..some day!!!!!

He's probably right Jean, we are unique, I'm sure you'd enjoy your visit.

I really can't imagine making a soap without cost in mind, since I only make it to sell. I want to make the most money possible. I enjoy using it, but probably wouldn't make it at all just for myself.

I agree; half the fun is trying to make a good-quality bar at an economical cost. Maximize your profit and/or keep your prices low, to sell more soap, to make more money to buy more materials to make more soap.... It's a lovely l'il cycle.

Which is why I make my sandalwood soap with real sandal powder, rather than buying an EO which would drive the price up thru the roof....
