I'm looking at specs for the Sage Leaf Fragrance Oil from Natures Garden. Can someone tell me what it means if there is a "red mark" next to the CA Prop 65 section? Does that mean there is something in the oil that is of concern?

I've not used FO or EOs before, so I'm trying to use safe ingredients.
Also, if I'm wanting to be sure ingredients are Sulfate Free - Parraben & Pthalate Free, is there a better place to look?

Thank you.

Hi, have you found out the answer to this? I too was trying to figure out what the red/green mark means for CA Prop 65.

If the mark is red, it means that CA Prop 65 warnings are applicable to the product.

Or more likely they never bothered to go through the extensive (and expensive!) testing to get approval so the CA Prop 65 warning doesn't apply. FWIU most companies don't go through the testing because it's cheaper to just put the warning label on the product; hence the reason that everything in CA is known to cause cancer. So I wouldn't worry overly much that there is something concerning in the oil from just that red mark. IMO.
