I do my salt bars in individual molds because they harden so fast (usually before I can get it all scooped out of the bowl into the molds LOL) I dont even use as much salt as you do so it seems like they just needed to be cut sooner

do you dissolve your lye in water before mixing it with the grease? if you add more water to your lye solution it may delay trace longer since the solution wont be as strong

then you can save a little water from and mix the aloe with it and add it at trace, I would just hate to add it too early and let the lye monster eat it up, it would seem like the later the better for something like that. Not sure when the best time to add the petals, I add them to the lye...

I add the petals to the lye water, they dont discolor to brown but stay nice and yellow, I think some people actually let the flowers dissolve somehow in the lye water but when I made calendula soap they did not dissolve when I put them in the lye solution, maybe its because I did not discount...

May not make sense but that is how it is. They offer shipping options for paypal orders but not for credit cards. Credit cards are run on their site not paypal, they even have a comment about shipping on the credit card page but no choices.

I had three shipping options, which website did you check out on? I had UPS, USPS and Fedex. Thats weird! Shipping was a bit high but I have come to accept that as shipping tends to be high with soap supply companies. I just wish mine would actually ship!

I have never used parchament paper but I do use glad press and seal with great results. The only fallback is it can leave the soap looking a little speckled because of the texture of the film/adhesive. I think I am going to try seran wrap next time. I know it works on top of the soap without...
