You can make tarts with any wax, tarts should be made with a pillar or tart blend... a specially blended wax which does not stick to the sides of the mold... so you can get them out of the molds. I use soy wax and love my results.

It was in the oven the oven wasn't on or warm, I put it in there so the cats and kids don't get into it. :) It only did this inside the mold, the top looks perfect.

My soap looks like lizard skin and is wet! I used aloe in the water mix but added the aloe to the oils instead of the lye water because I didn't want it to scorch or discolor.

It took me a year of experimenting and perfecting to develop my candles before I was comfortable selling them to strangers.

I wipe my equipment down with paper towels and use mold cleaner also. Stearic acid is used to increase hardness and help with scent throw. Your candles will be fine without it.

It depends on the fragrance. I have French vanilla and regular vanilla, the French comes out a light tan, the vanilla comes out a cream color. I've never heard of a vanilla stabilizer.
