So I'm getting on a plane and want to take some of my soaps to my family i'm going to visit. They are still curing but I want to take them anyway. I"m thinking tupperware and white tissue paper? I'm worried about the different scents being stuck together, but space is tight. I don't have room...

Now that I've learned to cool my lye faster I"m at about an hour too. Waititng for my lye alone was taking over an hour! It's interesting you guys leave your pots for the next day. Didn't realize it was easier to wash them later.....Something to think about.

Like I said I just made it (Monday I think), so I don't know how well the color is going to last. But I did use a BIG bright piece of pink after I cut it and I did NOT turn pink and that's EVERYONE's first reaction in my family when I tell them what I used. So We'll see!!

How are you getting the same size bar? I can't cut a sraight line to save my soul! I just cut up my batch out of a broiler pan and I have every size you and think of and I swear I measured but I just can't cut a straight line!

Well I was going for swirl, but this is what I got. What happened is the portion I took out to color and "swirl" with got thicker faster than the white. So when I Drizzled the pink in it kinda settled to the bottom, I still ran a chop stick thru it and some of it stayed on top but most went to...

Well I tried again! Here it is, It's scented withSweet Vanilla Sugar FO with pink "Marbled" in it. I used the Wilton Iceing coloring and I took a chunk of the pink and washed my hands with it and I did not turn pink! :D So we'll see how long the color lasts! The bars behind it are scented with...

Ok, So sometimes I screw up when wraping my soap with the towel and the towel gets in the soap. I have a few towels with soap all over them. How do you guys wash your towels? Is it ok to just put them in the washer? Will the soap mess up my washer or suds all up and leak?? Do you use laundary...
