With all my failures the last 2 weekends on creating a good white soap, I some pics of the log I made on Sunday. Thank you all for your help with my recipe. As you can see I tried for 3 layers. I thought the bottom layer was firm enough to pour my second layer on, and I believe I poured it to high and too fast so the second layer sunk down into the first. However, the third layer (white soap with confetti) has a nice and clean line. Over all I'm happy with it. More practice needed though. Thanks for looking, and the help.

I so love how that 2nd layer turned out - it's just fantastic! of course looking at it is making me hungry...... :?
 
What? Those are awesome!!! I wouldn't have known they didn't turn out as expected! I love the way they look!
 
I love it!!!! I especially like the waves in the first two layers, even though that's not how you intended it. And the confetti is so fun!!!!
 
some of the best pieces of art are the ones the artist thinks are shikaka!!... i think your soaps are absolutely wonderful...very unique!! id buy one!! :).... whats the confetti!?!?
 
I like how the 2nd layer dipped into the first, really gives it a neat effect! very yummy looking :wink:

i like it much better than 3 flat regular layers! the way it is now gives it a very unique artisan quality...my gawd, i wish all my soaps turned out so lovely!
