I KNEW it! It's the Starship Enterprise! And neons! And glow in the dark, too! And oh mylanta, that's a lot of soap for a first batch after a two year long hiatus! That is a seriously awesome comeback.

My "knit" soap came.oit the mold this morning. I miscalculated my batch and was one layer short. It got added several hours later so I hope it stuck.The colors give me Freddy Krugervibes for some reason. Anywho, we shall see how it does tonight.

Super cool! Love the Freddy Kruger reference.

I made tiger soap! Came out even better than I expected! I’m usually not great at these artistic things

I made 6 loaves of soap. Shea/mango/PKO/castor oils. Each with a different fragrance. Infused castor oil used for all color. 20! plastic containers used. 1 big masterbatch of Shea/mango/PKO created plus 2 extra ounces of oil.

From left to right:
1. Chocolate (CC) - combined purple [Alkanet root] and red [Himalayan rhubarb] to get brown that's looking more like baby poop

2. Tobacco and Bay leaf (BB)- in the pot swirl of red and orange [tumeric infused oil]. Both were very very light

3. Neroli (WSP)- nothing special - tumeric infused oil
4. Bay rum (CC) - plain
5. Mango Mango (BB)- nothing special - tumeric infused oil

6. Hip Hippy (hipster (WSP) - one pot wonder swirl with orange(1/4), plain (1/2), and purple (1/4) oils

i put them in a cold oven thinking that the heat they give off could force gel

Took about 2 hours to do. 2 days to plan. 1 day to recheck everything. Spilled some of the white in the one pot wonder

It's gonna be a long 24 hour wait to cut them. I'll share the cut pictures.

Off to get some M&M's

I can't imagine making that much soap in one day. You're amazing! I made my first attempt at challenge soap today. Two pounds of it. Took me a week of planning and two hours to assemble it. I'm hot and sweaty and wiped out. It almost did me in! I'll join you in some M&M's as soon as I have my soapy/oily/lye dishes washed. Can't wait to see what it looks like when I cut it tomorrow. I think it'll be full of air bubbles and be uneven. If it's ugly, I'll give it to my daughter and she can felt over it.

Nice work, @justsomeguy. FYI, cocoa powder or carob powder are natural brown colorants that work very well in soap. The starches in them also contribute to easier lathering.

That swirl is beautiful! I haven't heard of that swirl before (or the fragrance, for that matter), but I'm definitely going to look them both up now!

I'm loving the one pot wonder swirl! The in the pot swirl came out nice but the colors are very wrong

The baby poop soap gelled to a very nice clean baby color.

I played with using an imprint mat on the bottom of my single-soap mold. I think I’ll dribble some white soap batter on the top to infill it next time I make soap

Got the electrical connected to my shed that I'm renovating for all my crafty bits. 2 ceiling LED didn't come on, so I'll troubleshoot that. But, MY AC WORKED! And in Louisiana it's still freaking hot so that's a must have. Next is finish water line trench and get that connected. Maybe it won't be unbearably hot trying to finish my ceiling now

I received my NG FOs the other day. Ordered smaller bottles this time in case they don't soap very well. I have several FOs from previous orders that are half full and in my opinion are unusable. Like an idiot I took a whiff of each bottle (15 in total) followed by a whiff of coffee grounds. Got a headache from Hades a few hours later. That will teach me.
