I still use it to treat my home-rendered lard and tallow, as well any containers of soft oils that I open. While it is expensive, the amount used is so minuscule per batch (literally a drop or two) that a very small bottle of ROE lasts a very long time.
Yes just .1% - or 10g per 10,000g. (Shall we revisit the math thread? 😄)
I use it too. I have purchased from Camden Grey and more recently from SVA although this kind is darker.

So super soapy tangentially.... I made @AliOop 's famous shower cleaner -- DO IT, IT WORKS!.
And heard from dear sister-in-law that she dyed her hair and also dyed her forehead and neck. She pulled out my mechanic/gardener soap (ala @earlene's recipe) and said "the dye just vanished in seconds. Thank you, my savior!" Glad to be of service.

Do you have a link to the shower cleaner recipe please.

@Relle it is super easy! Mix a solution of 50% Dawn dish soap and 50% white vinegar. Mix gently to combine. Spray on any bathroom surfaces (shower walls, shower curtains, glass shower doors, acrylic tubs or floors, ceramic tiles, toilets, sinks) that are able to be cleaned with vinegar. Not marble or quartz!

Here is the key: you have to leave it on for about 10 minutes, or even 20 if you have a lot of buildup to remove. Any soap scum typically wipes off or even rinses off with the shower sprayer. And because of the acid in the vinegar, it does a great job on limescale, too.

You can add EOs if you'd like; the smell isn't the best. But it goes away completely upon rinsing.

I did this with a cheap liquid lemon dish soap and white vinegar to clean out an old refrigerator in an old rental one time😆 I was actually surprised at how well it worked then, now I do use the regular blue Dawn ~ that's good stuff!

@ AliOop, thanks for the info, did a quick search last night in the supermarkets, looks like Dawn is not available here, I do remember the name being around as a kid, might just have to try what I have, as Shelley D said lemon dish soap works as well. Dh has a blue cleaner under the sink for stubborn stains, but there's not much left and I think he bought it from a dollar shop (can't remember where), you go back to these places and can't find it again, I think it was Fairy brand. Anyway looks like I'll be on the search.

Decided it was time to tidy up my colorants and...I have way too many and different size jars and pouches. For someone who is slightly OCD, it's been bugging me. After looking at a lot of different options I decided to order 2 Shazo Airtight 9-pc Mini Container Set and 2 of the Shazo Airtight 7-pc Food Storage Containers. They come in Black, White and Gray and I waited for the 9-pc set to go on sale and got them for about half price.

I really like them. I choose them for several different reasons: they are all easily stackable, I can close them with one hand, they hold around 8oz of mica, wide mouths and I can easily see what is in them. Now I don't care much for the labels and the pen isn't that fine line, but I will be making new labels. I haven't checked out the 'spoons', but it looks like it holds about a tablespoon. I still need to get one more set of the Mini Containers to cover all the colorants I use.

I'm using the Storage Containers for stuff like TD, Kaolin Clay, Beeswax Pastilles, Coarse Salt, Colloidal Oats, etc.

Thank you Ali! Will be mixing up some today.

Yay! I got my new Karma (Lush) dupe FO yesterday, so today I made soap:

I am super curious to see how you cut bars from a round mold. 🤔 Can’t wait to see the reveal!

Here's another soap done in the same mold:
