Hi @Saltynuts - that’s some interesting looking soap there. In order to troubleshoot, we will need to know your full recipe with all additives, including FOs or EOs, as well as your process. Without knowing all of that, we can’t help much, if at all.
Ah gotcha. Yes,100% canola can make for slimey soap when wet. But any handcrafted soap will deteriorate if left in wet conditions. You’ll want to elevate the soap on something that allows it to drain, and keeps it away from standing water or shower head water.

Commercial soaps can have other sedatives, er, additives that help them withstand wet conditions. They are also made much, much harder (thus more impervious to water) by the mechanical milling process and the removal of glycerine.
