I made conditioner bars today. The first time I made them 3 years ago I wasn't a fan. Apparently my tastes have changed though because I found one of my original bars and have been using it, and I love it.

I also made a small batch of hand cream using kokum butter to replace most of the cocoa butter in the recipe.

I found a tightly sealed jar of lotion/cream base from the DIY B&B recipe that I made in 2021 tucked in the back of my fridge. I wonder if it is still good? It smells totally fine. I think I'll use it to make a small batch just for myself and see how it does.

It's a sugar scrub made with the Foaming Bath Butter recipe from DIY Bath & Body. I love that recipe. As a foaming bath butter, the pH is even suitable for use as shampoo, which is how my daughter uses it. Add sugar and it's a sugar scrub. Add menthol, mint, and salt and it becomes a foot scrub. Add spearmint, tea tree and some jojoba beads and extra fine pumice and it's a facial scrub.
I have been using the sugar scrub as a facial scrub and really like that too. I will eventually make the true facia scrub.

Thank you. It's been a few hours since I made them and the alcohol smell is gone. I just weighed them and they are all right at 30g for now just for reference @Tammyfarms.
If it’s not too much trouble would you give me rough dimensions? Just a width or height measurement. I am thinking of buying some molds for my press and don’t want to buy too big or too small. Just like Goldilocks, I want them to be just right. 😉😂

These testers that are about 30g each are 1.25" in diameter across the top and 1.75" across the bottom. They aren't quite an inch tall, more like 7/8ths of an inch.
