Anybody remember that morphed-scent salt bar batch I did? The one that was individual bars but still broke in half?:???: Gonna repeat it without milk and it won't really be a salt bar. Just a little salt added for label appeal, if I had a label. It's Gardenia and though it doesn't really smell like a totally true gardenia it's very nice.

Tonight was drinking wine with a friend until she got called into work (I was drinking, she was not). Hopefully she can get out soon and we can reconvene the evening.

Tomorrow is soaping. A quick run to the local natural food store to see if they have ginger EO and then I am making a batch with my shredded cheddar cheese colored peppermint soap.

Otherwise, I am going to try swirls for the first time and possibly a small batch of basic castile.

We are kind of snowed in, which is perfect for soaping. I think tomorrow I will make coffee and cream soap. Last time I tried it, I forgot the coconut oil, and it was crazy lye heavy.

I was toying with the idea of making some soap with my rose clay using the Sun-Ripened Raspberry FO. I am not loving it in the bottle, but sometimes they smell better in soap. Not really sure what I am going to make.

I am going to try to do some more soaping videos if my husband can help me.

I just realized that it's either my cell phone bill or soaping.........DAMMIT! *sigh* no soaping for me this weekend.stupid unemployment....stupid snow....#@@%&@&%^$@#^%@#%$@#^%@$ *grumbles*

I measured oils for a batch of soap last Sunday and it still sits with the lid on, so I will make that for sure. It will be lavender, and I think I will try layering again.

It is supposed to rain today, but if it does not, I'll be out clearing the back fence line, as that is the only place I have to put any garden. Just four more days of school til we are out for SPRING BREAK! (excuse my shouting, but I'm really excited!) We (my co-teacher and I) have been dealing with some major problems in one lil guy, so work has been exhausting lately!

I work this weekend, but I made soap on Thursday and Friday. That should hold me til Tuesday. Then I plan on sewing up some cloth diapers for my niece's son. She is into the organic fabrics so I bought organic cotton, bamboo, and hemp to make them.

Worship the deity of soap once again

Got a show coming up April 20, so soaping is foremost in my mind this weekend. It's an environmentally-friendly type of show, centered around a cloth diaper swap. I'm thinking almond oil unscented soap, coconut milk w/e.o. or unscented, for babies. Baby shower soaps. Scented & unscented Bum & Belly Butter. Any suggestions...
