@dibbles
Started a new thread as the other is for scoops.

But i wanted to tell you that your trick to Grind the bath salts is SO much better and easier.

I tried this last night because I have Epsom here so why not.
1st tried normal and then Ground. So much of a difference in the Moon Cake press. Without grinding the large salts get stuck in the design so by the 2nd one you can't tell what it is.

I had to grind up the 8 I did 1st.... that was not fun in a small coffee grinder :confused: but it worked well enough.

As you can see, they came out good. I had to tap the sides for it to come out of the mold but it's all good.
The square ones on the right at the 1st done with grinding, the sq ones on the left and middle are re-grounds. These are Cuke Melon Lick me scent.
Round ones are ground from the get go. These are Lemongrass/Eucalyptus EO scent. They are so lightly scented that the lemongrass is really the only thing you smell.

Uncolored as I only have Micas and don't want anyone to have to clean after a soak because you are sore ;) So if I make more they will be non-colored.

These are made in the 100g press, today they weigh in at 4.6 to 4.75 oz ( around 132 g )

OMG they are SO easy to make. Kicking my self for buying all the citric acid instead of Epsoms !!!
do you use a Food Processor for grinding ? my tiny coffe grinder did very well, but man that is tiny

Ok so I tried the Food Processor and it doesn't get as good a powdery feel on the Epsom salt. Gritty texture Plus it takes longer, go figure, then the small coffee grinder.
Here is a pic, Should be coffee grinder is smaller and on the Left side

Sorry, I didn't realize you had asked that question here. Yes, I use a coffee grinder and just grind a small amount at a time. I burned out a coffee grinder thinking I would be efficient and grind up all the Epsom salts I had left. So either I was using the grinder for too long a period of time or was getting impatient to finish and added more salt that the poor little thing could handle. I've wondered about the food processor, so thank you for sharing that.
