Thin Shower Gel Help

Is there anything I can use to greatly improve the viscosity of my shower gel that is already made?? It is great with a quick and abundant lather, but is just too thin a consistency for my purposes?

Handmade or store bought? If it's hand made, you can try salt.

I purchased it from a soapmaking supply company...what proportions of salt would I use and heated or cold? lol...sorry this is very new to me...and thank you for your reply...
