Hello.

My name is Amy Kalinchuk, and I live in Denver, Colorado. I just found this forum because I am, apparently, wicked busy. Glad I found it, though. It's very friendly.

I've been making soap for many years, and sell my soap at farmer's markets here in Denver. I have also written and published two books on soap making:

Making Soap In Your Own Kitchen is a beginner's guide to soap making, with a photograph of every single step, including photos of trace.

Best Soap Recipes is the "next step" book, with oil charts, time-tested recipes, guidance for creating your own recipes, and a huge supplier list.

I'm working on two new books to be published this summer, as well.

Aside from all that, I am a public school teacher, a publisher, and I have a husband and a kid. In my free time, I sleep.
