Hello again!
So I was just wondering if I had to do the extra step of melting the hard oils and then adding the liquid oils to the melted hard oils. Or if I could just put all of my oils in the container together and microwave until they’re all melted and clear? is there a difference in the final soap? If not, I’ll take the easy way out, lol.

I do what @DeeAnna does, and for the same reasons. When I was a new soap maker I melted them all together and that worked perfectly fine. I did have to wait for the oils to cool before I could start. Since I prefer to soap at cooler temperatures adding the liquids to the already melted solids works better for me. Lower temps with the fats/oils and mixing my lye solution with frozen distilled water means I rarely have to wait to begin the fun part.

I heat everything together, I don't mind waiting for the mixture to cool down. Choose whatever works for you, it doesn't matter much
