This shop is opening about 25 miles from me - EEEP! Its like a soapers dream come true!!! Very inspiring!

I never really wanted a retail space but gosh, if I ever change my mind, I hope I'll have the funds and time/expertise to compete with such a lovely shop. They definitely have their stuff together. Its about time we got a REAL soap shop - not to bad mouth Lush, but I was not impressed with anything other than their marketing lol.

Now how to figure out a way to compete with them anyway, in my measley little online shop bahaahaha!

LUSH supports Hamas which means they support terrorism. This is not bad mouthing. It is stating a fact.

I requested an order form, and their bars are $9.00/each. That seems a wee bit high to me. I'm torn, spend $40 there or buy more supplies for myself? lol

I wouldn't either. But I AM really interested in trying theirs. But $9 dollars!!! Sheesh!

Just curious but would there items be generally cold process or melt and pour?

I am in awe.
All the products look just wonderful to try.
I have checked out their facebook page as well and it certainly inspires me.

From the pics I've seen on fb, they're cold process. They have lots of pics of soaps in silicone lined, wooden molds.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone.

It has been a long, wonderful, hard, fun, traumatic (sometimes) and delightful 10 year journey to get to the place we are today.

All of our bar soap is indeed cold-process - they weigh between 6-8 ounces each and imho are worth every penny of the $9 we charge. Our fun little confections are both mp and cp.

Thank you all again for taking the time to view our fb page...I can always tell when someone's talking about us. :D

Sweet bubble...love your soap, you deserve the 9 Dollars...I just couldn't afford it.But it is good for us soapers to see a high standard for soap, you set the bar :)
My bars are 6 to 8 oz, sell them for $ 6...everybody tells me to charge more, but I just can't.Sometimes I feel, why actually not. They are handcrafted, lots of love, work and money goes in to them right?

Your soaps are lovely. And you absolutely are charging what they are worth! It gladdens my heart to see people doing so - we shouldn't be making our products seem like commodities when our hearts and souls go into them. Well done!

Do you have a web site from which we can purchase?

Thanks carebear! No website yet, it's a work in progress - I've been saying that for over a year now  We're opening our second store in a couple of weeks and that is keeping us busy - lots of hoops to jump thru.

Susan

Second store? How many of you are there? lol Honestly, I could spend a pretty penny in your store and love every minute of it! I think if I lived near by I would be there daily just to "sniff" around! You shoud be very proud of what you've accomplished. Best of luck to your second opening! :D
