Born on the full moon

Very nice Mary - is that an Angel Food Cake Soap? Love it! And those butterflies are so precious!!!

Thanks Lindy.
It is a very lucky bundt cake cause it turned ,out so I reckon there was an angel or two helping out so yes I believe I can unquivocally say it is an angel food cake. Now I shall ice it.
I was searcing for a flexible bundt cake for sometime and gave up and used that micro wave one and viola! in the freezer for a while ,then run under the hot water and out it came.
Also part of it's pedigree is that it was born the full moon.

Like Tabitha, I haven't soaped since the beginning of December. So this weekend I have made, a men's soap (woodsy), my original bar (patch, orange and palmarosa), I made my first whipped soap (starfruit and mango), and I am just about to start bubblegum and lemon verbena. It snowed this weekend so gave me the perfect opportunity to make soap.

Wow, everyone has been so busy! Love the pics starduster.....what gorgeous colouring.....and that angel food cake one...to die for!!! I didn't get to make any soap over the weekend.

Instead I helped my daughter make her first soy wax container candles. I say 'helped', however my darling is very assertive, so I mostly contributed by saying 'calm down, CALM DOWN!!!' a lot and learning very quickly what not to do when making container candles

Lil - excellent pic with your orders - keeping busy girl!

I made more soap today. Lime, Basil & Mandarin (Jo Malone type) what a lovely FO, hope it stays true in the finished bars.
Also a couple of single oil soaps for a UK swap, I've done PKO already but did 100% palm and 100% lard today.

Mary your site is coming along really nicely!

Tanya I just saw your product on Mary's site & I love your packaging girl!!!

Everyone has been busy!

Mary, your newest soaps are divine as always - you keep on getting better and better! I am picturing that ring cake cut up, seeing it side on will be wonderful, so very PINK with the creamy 'icing'.....yum.

Lindy, thank you. I have wrapped and labelled a few different ways and basically decide on a per batch basis now how I will go  , depending on what suits the soap colour/shape. Those are my MP soaps and body butters. My CP so far have just been cigar band labels and popped into organza bags............sorry to get OT here.....

Corrie, I just saw pics of your gorgeous pomegranate noir and the lime, basil & mandarin - beautiful!

Tanya :)

I always seem to miss these posts until after the fact. Everyone seems so busy!! (that's a good thing)
I WANTED to get a soaping session in this weekend and do about 3 batches and also make a salt scrub, but as per usual, I got NOTHING done but sitting on my patuka watching football. LOL
Also my nephews leave ended last night so we all had a good-bye dinner for him before he had to report back to duty.
Maybe I'll be able to do something next weekend. :)
