Hi Everyone,
I think this may be the easiest way I've found to show you my photos that aren't thumbnails.
I infused the oils with all the spices I had including cloves, allspice cinnamon and anise stars and used an EO blend of cloves and anise. All I smell is the anise star now. As you can see I have a heavy layer of 'frosting' on this batch!

Very pretty. Love the bevels! If you're not one that's "embracing the ash", you can rub it off with some rubbing alcohol on some pantyhose, usually. Personally, I think they look fine with it left on there. :)
Great job!

Looks great!

I'd leave the frosting, too :)

Looks rustic. Kinda like the rind on cheese :)

Big fan of frosting myself!! (ummm, not on myself) :) Nice chunky soaps!

i really like the substantial "chunky" size. nice edges, too!

have you ever thought of stamping your soaps?

www.suppliesbystar.com has about the best selection and prices.

i have the cat, frog and heart and they have been fun to play with and kinda "personalizes" the soaps.

very nice soapies! :D

Thanks for all the praise guys!!! Up till this point I've been using boxes and a few silicone 9x9" pans for molds. I'm finding that I want the log molds that I see many others use. I'd love to have the uniformity/consistency that you all have.
Funny you should ask about stamps! I'm a huge scrapy fan! I've got tons of stamps and have plans to use them soon on soaps soon.
Thanks again :)

Hmmmm I reckon the frosting (well thats what you tell the customers ash is!!) looks totally brilliant, and your beveling is lovely, a really nice soap for Christmas, I bet once it has cured it will smell fantastic
