@GuacamoleSalad Welcome to the fun of divider techniques! Your soap is really lovely - I'm glad you decided to enter the challenge this month!
@Tammyfarms Beautiful soap, as usual! I like the tea speckles.
@Firefly24 I always love a pretty hanger swirl. I'm not always a fan of neons, but your yellow is 🔥
@MrsZ Your color choices are gorgeous, and the delicate swirls are so pretty!
@justsomeguy Your swirls turned out very nicely even with a portion of the batter getting thick. Thank you for sharing the amount of turmeric infused oil you used - that is helpful.

@dibbles thank you! I really had fun with the yellow and if it wasn't for the challenge I never would have thought of the bees. It took awhile to figure out how to make bees out of what I had. But they are pretty easy if anyone wants to make them. A half circle for the head, the rectangle shape 2 black and 1 yellow, and then the triangle for the tail, then the tear drop shape for the wing.
@Firefly24 thank you! It took longer to make the embeds than it did to make the soap, but it was mostly the flowers that kept falling apart.
@Cindy D. Your bees are the Bees Knees! Everyone's work this challenge is great!

So many super cool entries but will single out @GuacamoleSalad , your first time you go with a divider?! Who does that? Nice work.
Thanks, @Zing ! Y'all are so friendly and encouraging.

And all these entries look amazing. @McKherring Farm I love those colors. @Tammyfarms I don't know what a slurry is yet but I love the look of your soaps! @MrsZ I'm going to have to learn a feather mantra swirl I guess ... @Cindy D. incredible bees!! @Ford such sweet colors, I like that. @Firefly24 what a great hanger swirl. @justsomeguy rhubarb and turmeric, my word ... that's gorgeous.

Well everybody I finished my soap at 4:00 am this morning went to bed and just woke up lol at least it's done now I just have to wait to cut it tomorrow. It's going to be a close call for me as well meeting the dead line. I don't know if my soap will turn out a slow moving FO I use seemed to speed up the trace usually it slows down. The only thing different I did was use almond oil in my recipe instead of rice bran oil. I also recall this happening last time I used almond oil in my swirling recipe and wonder if almond oil is really the slowest moving oil to use I feel I get better results using rice bran oil in my slow moving recipe than the almond oil. So anyways I might not have gotten the pattern I want because my soap batter thickened up to much so we will see.🥴

Question for folks who've done this before. When I first submitted my entry, I attached the photo with two bars of soap first. For a few days it showed as the first photo. Now it looks like the last photo. I haven't changed anything.

Does this happen sometimes? Will people use the two-bar photo to judge, or will it be disqualified? I'm not particularly attached to competing, it was fun just to enter, but not sure what to do differently next time if photos can just move around of their own accord.

That's weird. @Relle can you fix this?

The guideline of the first photo being the one you want used for voting is really just an ask to make it easier for challenge hosts when creating the survey. If we have a question, there is a good chance the participant may not see it and respond in time. This is especially relevant in the cases where there is more than one photo of the finished bars. Just let me know which photo you would like me to use.

Also, the bar requirement for this challenge is 'at least two bars'. That is one of the things that can change each month, so it's something you should look for in future challenges.

No, I can't fix it, they can't move around by themselves You can check how it loaded with a preview before posting. You might try editing your post and deleting the photos and uploading again. Check that the 2 bar photos go first.
