Just got back from a trip to the South Island. Did you miss me?
Here are some photos of Mt Ruapehu in the centre of the north island on the way down. One of them has a signpost with a kiwi on it - can you see it?

Beautiful! I spent a very happy 7 months in New Zealand, many many moons ago. Such a wonderful country with amazing people. Hoping to get down under soon, to show my husband a wee bit of your paradise . Thanks for sharing your photos!

I love NZ. I have been several times and the scenery is so beautiful. I was two weeks away from a North Island Road Trip when COVID hit and borders closed . Still haven't managed to reschedule it yet. Maybe next year.

We went to the Marlborough Garden Festival. Unfortunately we both now have COVID ( I know, I know - late to the party). Have to self isolate now until Wednesday next week. Feeling very lethargic! Here's some pics from the festival:

Thanks for sharing your gorgeous photos. I’m not traveling nearly as much these days as I did in the past and I’m sad that I never got to NZ and Australia.
