Hiya! I'm relatively new to the soap making world, and it has become quite the hobby in a short amount of time. My question is this: I have a slab mold that is divided into 9 blocks. I work with a 100 percent coconut oil CP recipe. I would like to embed a vertical element in the soap,to the full depth of my bar so that as it is used, the embed remains constant in the soap. After putting in the dividers, can I simply push this vertical embed into my already poured bar, or do I pour in a bit of soap, push in the embed, and pour the remaining soap around the embed? I appreciate any help/ comments! :)

I think what will work best will depend on the shape of the embed. For example if it is just a simple circle you should be able to place them directly into the poured soap without having to worry it will topple over. If it is something thin that could topple you might want to hold it in place and pour around it to be sure there are no air bubbles around the embed.
