Just googled and found this @KiwiMoose -
Pringles sold in New Zealand are made in Malaysia. This is because Pringles' Malaysia plant already serves the Asian market, so the same recipe, packaging, and chip size are used for Australia and New Zealand.

Also they are smaller as I found out, the 3'' discs for kaleidoscope soaps don't fit. So all is not the same in
Malaysia. The tube is lined with metallic paper.

Good sleuthing work Relle! I’m guessing it’s still aluminium lining the cans though?

They don't fit in our Pringles cans either - we need 2.75" disks. I wouldn't trust the liners though, if they don't have the bit of plastic over the metal paper.
Well, that explains it for me! I couldn’t figure out why my disks fit so well in a pringles can and are a tad too small for my column mold. I just looked up my disk set and the disks are 2.5”. Sounds like I need some pringles for my next pull through.
