Love the color, hope it stays that way! Too bad I'm lazy to make infusions, I dump the paprika right with the oilsView attachment 79569
A soap I made using the Bastile soap recipe by @AliOop (minus the goat mik powder). The olive oil was infused with paprika and it was a lovely vermillion red. I was almost sorry to use it Once mixed and soaped, it mellowed to this peachy colour.
How did you make the cubes?View attachment 79570

These soaps are both made with plant colorants - the red is from Himalayan rhubarb with a madder root infusion in the lye water. @curlycoat2 has two (or three?) excellent books on using plant colorants.
I'm not the person you asked, but I got mine hereMay I ask where you sources your rhubarb?
@Vicki C Okay, WOW!! My jaw dropped so hard it hit the floor! Wow wow wow, these are amazing!View attachment 79570

They were made with extruded diamond shapes and little chevron shapes - and then pieced together - the diamonds came with the extruder, the chevron I cut out of a plastic cutting board. The tiny cubes were made by putting three colors at a time through an extruder with a small hexagon. It’s sort of hard to describe all of this…How did you make the cubes?
