Ok, so i have been selling on Etsy for awhile now, but have been wanting my own site for long time. I finally took the time and have spent the last few hours creating a template for my site. Will you please go peek and tell me if it shows up for you all and your opinions? Dont try the links, i havent got them working yet, this is just the "front" page so far!

yes, still playing with it, also uploaded the soaps page and am adding pics now, will work on shrinking it down.

I like your idea as well.....however, unless it's just my tired old eyes I'm finding the text next to your soap explanation blending in with the background & difficult to read. Would it be possible to darken the print a bit...otherwise you did a fantastic job. Very nice!

ok ok......I just took another look & your print stands out much better now. It looks great on the green background, much easier to read. I really like that! Good job...

isnt it funny how monitors see things differently?
This is a natural aged parment paper background..so sorta beige, brown. and the text is in black..lol

maybe its cause im using "front page"?

that is what i see. i don't see any green either. on my monitor i see everything in the right proportions.

ok, now i see the green. did you know that your page has a bunch of repeated 4.25? also, i'd put the buttons back where you had them instead of underneath the page. i can tell, this site is going to be beautiful

While I'm diggin' your design (looks great!!!), I'm having the same issue a couple of others were having with the background size.

I don't have any helpful suggestions on that one, as web design and I are grave enemies, but that's the onlly criticism I have.

ok you girls, what I see is the soap pictures & description on a greenish background which is on your beige brownish background. Does that make sense....

ah, got it, the background of the tables looks green to you..lets see if its fixed now..i made an image the background, hopefully will look somewhat tan now.

oh ok! the green is the background of your soap page. it is a faintly olive/pea green block of color behind your soaps and the cells where you will be filling stuff in.
