That recipe doesn't sound as if it has been tested. Honey is usually added either into the oils or the cooled lye water, before combining the two. Once all the ingredients are saponified it is not sticky and is just incorporated into the soap. Honey adds lather/bubbles to soap.I just made honey oatmeal soap and it said to drizzle honey on top and my honey is still sticky
Whoops, didn't realize this was in the MP forum. My comments apply to making CP soap.I'm assuming this is melt & pour soap, considering it was posted in the M & P forum. Honey poured over soap will never firm up; it's honey. It's sticky.
