I know lye based shampoos aren’t ideal for the hair, however, I found this recipe (I can’t remember where from) and was wondering if someone could give some insights about whether or not it would work?

Percentages:
Castor oil - 22%
Coconut oil - 18%
Tallow beef - 17%
Olive oil - 12%
Sunflower oil - 11%
Stearic acid - 20%

Properties:
Bubbly lather - 33
Cleansing - 13
Condition - 51
Hardness - 47
Longevity - 34
Creamy lather - 54
Iodine - 54
Ins - 151

It's still soap. It will still have the same potential for problems because it's the pH of the soap that is the issue.
