Hi Tammyfarms i too started with SCM unfortunately i agree that nothing is organized and i felt like she thought everyone is a chemist. I have her Shampoos ezine and it gave me some ideas but i had a hard time following her.

I also have the DIY etsy formula but it doesn’t do well for my dry, curly hair so i am a little leary about purchasing her conditioner recipe.

I actually have a shampoo bar i like at the moment, but i am having trouble getting the idea for a conditioner bar together for my type of hair.
Give Body HavenSoaps, Oce Naturals, and Reece Barnett a look on YouTube. Each have varied formulations. I believe Reece and BHS both specify hair types.

Was your shampoo bar a purchased recipe? Does the same person offer a conditioner bar? I’m guessing you have thought of that but just in case you haven’t.
No actually it is a bar i developed myself using parts of SCM’s ezine information. I had the hardest time getting around her notes because she talks above my brain level. I didn’t buy her conditioner information.

I had the same experience. I really try to understand the science but *ahhh* it makes my head hurt. I am more of an earth science/geology person. Chemistry is really hard for me to understand.
