A late Valentine's Day soap, but oh well. Love is never really out of season, right?

FO Peony and Amberwood from BB, smells heavenly and behaves well. The smell didn't seem to change much between OOB and in soap. Mango butter majority soap, so stirred it with a spatula and started pouring and marbling as soon as I thought I had emulsion.
The embed had been poured previously, and then unmolded and "painted" with Mica in oil, and then wrapped in plastic. The oil absorbed into the embed soap, sticking the Mica to the soap.
The top was just that set up by the time I spattered the remainder of Mica in oil down the center and grabbed a toothpick for the swirl. Not what I was expecting, but I like it.

Love is indeed always in season, and so are those bars. So pretty, and I'm really liking the "accidental" sculpting of the tops - not so "fru-fru" that I'd hate to use the bar. And, yes, that name is PERFECT!

Gorgeous!

Great job! If a high mango bar requires a long cure like a high Shea bar, then making it now is perfect for next V day!
I find Mango lathers a lot better a lot sooner than Shea, or can, depending on what else is in it.
For instance, the soap cupcakes I made are almost 5 months old, but I've been using them since 2 months, and they've been one of my favorites over the winter, both for bubbles and combating dryness. However, my triple-butter soap, which is only 45% butters, is taking way longer to reach the same benchmarks than the 72% mango butter cupcakes did. 🤷‍♀️
I'll pick a bar for weekly lather tests shortly, and I'll see where this batch lands, but I'm expecting it to fall on the shorter side.
