LOOK LOOK, I finally got a black bath bomb color

I've been trying for three years. I'm so excited. It's the most beautiful deep black. They aren't decorated yet but they smell like monkey farts. The picture doesn't do it justice.

When dark colors are used in bath bombs, I expect the bath water turns a dark color, but does it not stain skin? This just baffles me to no end, mostly because of my personal struggles with dyes, mostly the darker dyes. But I can't help the images in my head of kids getting out of the bath turned all kinds of colors and in turn, those colors rubbing off on the towels

It should be fine with poly 80. And these are actually very small. Only about 3 oz.

It's supposed to. I think it depends on the amount you use. It helps mix oil and water and prevent it from staining the tub and the person so it goes down the drain. It's not perfect so too much of the colorant can still be an issue so you need to make sure you use the right amount of poly 80. Since this is such a dark color, I have 5 grams poly 80 in every 250 grams of baking soda. That should be enough. Its my usual amount and I've never had a problem.

lol, actually if I had the money, I'd get the blue glow mica from Mad Micas. The ghost would look totally awesome if it glowed. I'm very limited on funds atm.

The color I made is with 2 red 40, 2 blue 1, 1 yellow 5, 1 yellow 6 and 1 red 27. It's Bath Fizz and Foams recipe with some extra another scoop of each plus another 1/8th of red 40 and about half an 8th of red 27. They are all in tsp.

The glow in the dark colors on mad micas are just glow in the dark. Last I looked, she has one that glows blue and one that glows green.

The glow in the dark on Madmicas are not bath bomb friendly unfortunately. If I spot any will let you know. Was hoping for a lip friendly glow in the dark mica.

Well that sucks. Glad I didn't order any since I was thinking about it.
