My name is Heather, I live in Maine and am married with 2 young daughters. I go to cosmetology school at night (almost done--woowoo!!) I don't know how but I got hooked on etsy. I loved looking through all the wonderful homemade bath and beauty products (even ordered a ton). From that, I somehow started to become aware of all the chemicals in my skincare products. The idea did not settle well with me so I decided to go back to basics by using only natural ingredients on my skin and have been really enjoying that. Then I started getting curious about how to make my own lotions/butters, thinking "wouldn't it be great to be pretty much self-sufficient with it and to know EXACTLY what I was putting on my skin!" So, with the encourage of my husband, I'm here trying to have a go at it. I look forward to absorbing all the information thats offered here.
