You put 3% beeswax in your soaps? I've never done that. What does it do in soap? Of course I use it in my lotion bars and I buy blocks of wax from a co-op of local beekeepers. The wax smells lovely, just like honey!
Not the OP, but people usually add BW to soap mostly for the additional hardness. I use 1-2% of oil weight. Some report it adds a certain gloss-like finish to the bar, which I haven't noticed - but my % is not that high so that may be the reason
