newbie said:I can't tell if it's the lighting or what I see is the true color of your soap, but if it looks pinkish/mauve, it's the FO. I've tried a couple vendors' Cool Waters and get mauve discoloration. I haven't monkeyed around enough with the ppo to see if it will not discolor at a certain rate and I haven't tried to TD it out. I'm not very good with TD- I always get flecks or streaks. I've tried white mica but TD gives a brilliant white that you don't get with mica.
Castile soaps are very white, as are all lard soaps. I think Crisco makes a white soap (I think- I don't use it personally). Can anyone say- would an OO/CO/crisco soap be pretty white?
