(I feel like I'm spamming, sorry about that, but I didn't think I could tack it onto the end of my other post being so unrelated)

I've got a coconut and olive oil soap that I can't find the recipe for right now but it had no fragrance oil and went to a very thick trace, hence the strangely shaped bars. It's due to finish curing on the 24th, but it's developed this strange foaming on the surface, wipes off quite easily and the soap is hard underneath. Do I need to worry?

As long as it doesn't zap it's probably safe to use.

Looks like harmless soda ash to me, too. It's a pretty common thing and nothing to be worried/concerned about. :)
