I think I feel a rebatch coming on. Since my earlier attempts at swirling failed miserably (my soap always started to set way too fast for swirling), I did things faster! Didn't use stickblender - at all - and this might be part of my problem. And as soon as it seemed to start tracing - I added EO and mixed with whisk. Then once it seemed blended in, I separated into colors, mixed and poured into mold. I took these pictures about 15 hours later, and looks like the EO is seeping out (or something else, this is just what I assume might be happening). I used 8% PPO. But I've used this amount before and it didn't cause these types of problems. So what do you all think the problem might be? Did I add stuff too early, or did I not mix in the EO good enough?

I think it's BE-UUUU-TIFULL!!!!! i really like it

I had some "demon blood" seepage on my first batch and it turned out fine. I don't know what causes it, but I think that you're ok. What does it smell like?

I think I'll name this soap "Harvey Dent" - or "Jekyll and Hyde". Looks great on one side - real ugly on the other!

After 24 hours, unmolded. I had hope! Sides looked real good. Then when I tilted over onto it's side and pulled paper off, liquid poured out and ugly hole on bottom. Definite rebatch.

But - I'll not give up!! Will have to try and try again. Thank goodness for rebatching!

It's lemongrass. Too bad it's not going to see a bathtub in its current state!

I like your colors , I'm sorry it didn't turn out for you  . I don't see any way for their to be much happening on the bottom of the soap with the way the swirl done. Mine just turned out the 2 colors of the soap, like yours.

Excellent try , my first wasn't great, but I am trying again..

I liked yours! I didn't realize I used the same title on my post until I looked back at yours - sorry for plagiarism. Was unintentional. But yours came out very well I thought. It'll probably be a couple days before I attempt another shot. First I have to rebatch this one.

It is not so bad, you could shave it off.
Ik really like the colours!

The trick to get the swirl colour through to the bottom is to pour from a decent height like 18 inches from the surface; then it really sinks in.
And repeat a few times - from left to right and back and slowly make the distance to the top smaller, so that the last pour only hits the surface. One line is sufficient to get a nice mantra swirl.

do you pour a double height bar?

good luck with your next try :)
