Pine Tar soap usually heats up so I'm guessing it gelled, although hdpe does slow the gelling process down.
Finally finished my DIY HDPE soap mold and a 20+ bar wire cutter!

Love your mold and cutter.
I am one that never has to line my HDPE molds and the soap just slides right out. I think recipe has a lot to do with it probably. IDK, but I know several people say they need to line theirs.
