Oh my, who would have thought that scrubby soaps could be so pretty! These entries and non-entries are beautiful! I can't wait to see the rest of them!

IKR? I'm off to a market today (it's Saturday morning here already) and when I get home I'll do my official photo shoot and post up my challenge pics.

Yes, CindyD was pointing out that @akseattle's entry post is incorrect because her entry is in the last photo, instead of the first one. CindyD was correct to use this thread to bring that up, since we cannot post any comments in the entry thread itself. Make sense?

@Cindy D. , @Tammyfarms , and @AliOop - thank you for pointing out the defect in my entry post!!! I do remember reading in the past that the entry is supposed to appear first. But, in my zeal to get on top of this early, I forgot!!!
I guess I need to make myself a checklist for this, too! Although we s.ee how much my checklist helped me to remember the loofah in my soap that I made as a potential entry for this challenge.
I've edited my entry post. Thank goodness I got a really early start on this!!!

You are correct; the entry photo cannot be shared in both threads.
From what I read, the photos shared by @akseattle here in this General Challenge thread were all non-entries.
The photo CindyD was talking about was the entry photo in the Challenge Entry thread (which has since been fixed).
Please let me know if I am mistaken or confused (because it's been known to happen, at least once a decade or so).

The entry photo WAS the first one when I posted it, and for a day after. Looks like my pictures square danced without me! They did that last month, too. Strange! I'll switch them around.

My pregnancy brain is terrible!!! Just a month or so until I can blame my fried brain cells on sleep deprivation instead of pregnancy hormones! But oh, I am SO EXCITED to have an infant in my arms again!I just clicked "edit" and all the pictures immediately went back to normal, so I saved it as-is. If they jumble again, I'll take out the unnecessary ones and just leave the entry photo.
Edited to add that the pictures didn't cooperate, so I deleted the renegades. Mwahahahaha!

Here's my first attempt. I used a new fragrance oil which is a dupe of "Love, Don't be Shy" fragrance by Kilian and it appears to have discoloured terribly. I split the batter into purple, red and non-coloured, and you can see the non-coloured is quite brown. This soap has coarse pumice powder and ground orange peel for the scrub:
And here's one I made just last month which has Brewed espresso, and the coffee grounds included. I probably would have used this very soap for the challenge ( it's one of my regulars) except that I made it only a week before the challenge opened:

Yes, all of these entries are amazing - each one brings up a new idea in my head. So many amazing & beautiful scrubby soaps this month! I'm glad I don't have to vote this month!
