It's much prettier in the picture... time hasn't been well for it. I wondered abt rebatching or grating it to use in confetti. I hate to waste if it there is anything else I can do. Mixed with other soaps in confetti, I'm guessing the concentration of clove would be very small. Thoughts on this anyone.

@Arimara - I made the coconut milk so it would be full fat. Because of the clove oil, I think this soap is only good for the bin!

Cool beans. I guess just be wary of anything spicy, be it FO or EO. Unfortunately, it probably would be safer to chuck the soap but, if the scent is strong, you could keep it in a drawer and let it scent it up. That way it would not be a complete waste.

You don't have to throw it out - you can use it for scenting your dresser drawers, or even the linen cabinet! You can also shred it up and throw a few (very few!) shreds into your soap batter when you need to accelerate trace, such as when you are making high temperature fluid hot process soap. Clove oil contains eugenol, a known trace accelerant.
