I did this with the same molds and it's still a bit difficult to remove because the wood mold is not very flexible.
So, I still kind of line my molds. I take one long strip of freezer paper and lay it in the mold lengthwise so that they hang over the sides. It still takes a bang or two on the counter but once loosened I can pull on the paper and it comes right out. Then just wipe the mold clean. I do think it was worth it. Mine just doesn't work as well as stated in the tutorial.
