it looks really cool! i can't enter because of the the cornmeal but i wish i could! :) :D

Dang it! I knew I should have made a second batch without cornmeal - my youngest has corn allergies so I really should know better.

I wish I had time to make another (non-corn) batch, but I haven't been able to make any soap in 3 weeks, my 6 year old got super sick and was in the hospital in ICU and now with my wedding coming up, I'm hoping to get time just to make my future mother in law's soap!

Who knew there was such a thing as too busy to make soap :?

Love your soap. I do garden but can't enter because I'm in Australia,so looks like I have to make my own.

Relle.

Great looking soap!

One of the things that got me into soaping was my desire to make a garden soap. I love gardening and have provided most of my vegies for many years ... I was raw vegan for a while, so ALL of my vegies is a lot! I don't bake for friends, instead I give them fresh vegies and soap!

My gardeners friend is an orange poppy seed soap. I use sweet orange and patchouli eo's, poppy seeds and oatbran. I love it ... and it's my most requested soap ... so I seem to make heaps of it!

Good luck with your contest, and here's to your life being smooth sailing until your wedding!

Love how your soap looks on your site! I'm a long way from Salem Oregon (Ontario, Canada) so I won't enter, but am sure I'd love your soap. I don't garden much either, as our soil is mostly sand and rock, and I'm giving up working out in the hot sun with deer fly eating my body. One fly will take as many as 7 bites in a row (ask me how I know - ouch!).

but I do love gardening and may put in a few tomato plants, some beans. One year (of the 10 I've been living here) I grew great crop of carrots, but never again did a carrot crop succeed since then. Just spindly things. I suspect it's the soil, and lack of rain in summer.

Thanks for the offer though!
