Just wondering how many out there have done the old switcheroo in a recipe while their mind was somewhere else? Mine for today was pretty awesome: recipe was supposed to be 30% Olive oil, 30% Coconut, 25% Palm Kernel, and 5 % each Apricot, Avocado, and Cocoa butter. I don't even remember what I was thinking of but I somehow switched the amounts for the Olive and Cocoa Butter! And its not like they even look the same! So now with 30% CB and only 5% Olive, I'm not sure what to think. I will say it smells really good though:)

I've done that before but it was castor oil switched for avocado. Well...they kind of look similar. I did realize my mistake and just increased the batch size to to correct it. It was the first I'd made a batch that was larger than 2 lbs.

I'm interested in hearing how your batch turns out.

Well, I cut the bars at about 14 hours and that was way too late. I think you could drive a nail with these guys! They have a mild peanut buttery scent, which is interesting, didn't use any FOs or EOs, and a real nice caramel color too. I can't wait to try them, I think a 4 week cure should be plenty for this batch!
