i'm learning that a new camera doesn't make great pix, you have to know how to use it first!!! after playing around for a while i finally got the detail i wanted in the photo....not that this is a great photo but at least it shows detail w/o being fuzzy....it's my green tea w/ nori soap.

Ooooow, Im so jealous! Need a new camera too. Had a cat-accident on my way too expensive 6 month old camera (the canon with the moveble screen), now saving up for a new one
Takes some time to get used to a new camera anyway, you'll figure it out soon. And you'll be making Soap **** all the time haha

Looking good rubato . If you have a macro setting , it will let you take nice close clear pics .It takes time to learn the new fangled things. .

I agree with kitn about the "macro" setting. I'm on my 3rd digital camera and NEVER could get good close ups until a professional photographer told me to look up that setting and learn how to use it. Amazing the difference!

yes, this one has a macro setting but because i don't have a tripod for it....i think when i used it there was a lot of shake....so the pix didn't come out very clear.....yes the booklet with this thing is the size of a small novel.....i spend my entire plane ride to detroit and back reading it ....kept my mind off of the extreme turbulence :!:

but there's still lots more to read and assimilate!
