I wanted to share my latest creation with you all, but my brain isn't working very well after visiting with family... So I guess it's just going to be pictures for now anyway.View attachment 80271Alpine green, new leaf green(morphed to a mustard color), and savage garden by Nurture Handmade. I forgot to add there is Honey Blush Mica color also.View attachment 80269View attachment 80268The soaps actually came out better than I expected them to!View attachment 80270
I think the turned out well

My Dad passed away last April, the night I entered my cake photo into the soap challenge. He was a great man and would help anyone if they needed help. He fixed things if they broke, if he couldn't fix it he'd find someone who could. He was always scooping out other neighbors driveways with his bucket loader and doing wheelies. He was a contractor for years and even a few months before his passing was working on construction projects at his house, my sister was his assistant and was working right beside him. He always had a project going in his mind and at least 5 more started. He was 92 and proud to have made it that far! He always wore a boat hat, in 1998 he and Mom spent the winter in Virginia with me and the kids. He couldn't find any hats he liked so I sewed him a bunch of hats. The hats on and in this soap are one of his favorite hats that I made him.
The soap didn't come out perfect, one section of the bench fell apart and it's all wonky. I told my mom it would just be one of his many projects he was fixing. 20250125_122552.jpg
