Selling your soap after 3 months of soapmaking

I don't know who you guys are referring to but I too question the wisdom of selling a product that has yet to be tested long-term. I have only given away soap for feedback (and to make room for more!!) and feel I am nowhere near ready to sell it. Soaping for me is a personal stress-reliever...

    keeping the scent..

Does it smell to other people? Could be your sniffer after being around it so long. I find EO's are hit and miss-sometimes they keep their smell and sometimes they fade. Lavender is one that usually "Sticks" for me tho. How much did you add? I don't think it's recommended to store your...

Making my first ever beer soap

I don't boil but do let it sit in a measuring cup for a few days in the fridge, giving it a stir every day or so.

The highs are so high & the lows just....suck

I can empathize! Made two batches myself the other day and the one turned out beautifully, and the other has clumps of TD in it (which I added at the last minute and obviously didn't blend properly). So it happens!!

    Books

I was thinking the same thing! Not that I consider myself an "intermediate" but perhaps "experienced beginner"?? I liked the "Everything" book and I find myself going back to reference things from time to time. No knowledge is wasted!

Refrigerate or wrap in towels? Gel or no Gel ?

For those who do not gel, may I ask why not? What is the diffference in your finished soaps? I gel (aka wrap my soap babies in towels) but for higher temp recipes such as ones with honey or salt soaps, I've left unwrapped and watched them to see what they do  and you can actually...

    Glitter Use on CP Soap

And some glitter can scratch the skin so be careful to use that which is marked as skin safe.

    swirly

Do you do this in the mold? Out of the mold? After curing? I have tried this after curing as I'm wrapping it up, but it doesn't seem to make much difference.
