Hello,
I've been playing with used soy cooking oil (non-hydrogenated) as an alternative fuel for years now but only recently got into making soap. I make monthly 30 gallon batches of biodiesel which leaves me with 5 or 6 gallons of black glycerin.
I've gotten good at making soft bars of light brown soap out of it and recently got into scenting it. Next I'll be playing with making it harder and longer lasting.
Be sure to watch out for any of my threads... I'm sure I'll have some interesting posts!
