Yesterday I made my 12 soap - samples

I made my 12th soap yesterday. I think the first was sometime in September. So a small sample of my beginnings... I'm having fun and experimenting.

I tried Vilcacora (Una de gato) as a color in one soap. When I was making this tea, I noticed that my saucepan was always red, so I thought I'd try what it would do in soap. I brewed the tea and used it as the liquid for the lye.
it is the 5th photo with the sheep and the color inside, the top is red clay. The soap has gone through the gel phase.

I had to look this up - I've never heard of it. It's a beautiful color.
