Hi everyone! I have been making a lotion with the recipe:
242 grams distilled water
1 gr xanthan gum
6 grams glycerin
12 gr shea butter
18 gr coconut oil
6 gr cetyl alcohol
10 gr Natragem-EW
And i notice some white residue when applying my lotion, somewhat foamy like using a soap. I tried searching online and reducing the cetyl alcohol to 3 gr, but i still notice it eventhough it’s lesser. However, when i reduce it too much, it loses its viscosity. I am new to this, so may i ask for advice? Thank you!
