I'm not sure which to use. My husband says the one without the gator is much more clear and I'd probably be better off using it on my labels and using the full logo on things like signs. But I'm not sure what the best idea is. What do you think?

I do tend to fall on the less-is-more side for labels, but I adore your gator! Will these be wrapped around the soap or container? If so, then you will only see the panel with the white background when you look at the front of the item, right? So it won't look as busy as it does when we are seeing the whole label all at once (which is not what the consumer would see).

I love the gator, too. If Ali’s assumption is correct, I say use the gator version.
Bigger text is better for these aging eyes
Keep the gator, lose the stuff on the side (too busy and artificial looking). Keep the text large and clear and not as pale.
I agree with Shirley-D. The charming little gator and bubbles go with the bayou and soap theme while the leafy side panels are thematically unrelated and add clutter. As AliOop pointed out, less is more. If you remove the leafy sides, you could potentially enlarge your gator and text to create greater visual impact that is more easily memorable.

I adore my new logo. I just ordered the signs for it to display at market. As soon as I get them, I'll be changing my brand. I much prefer Bubble Bayou to Silver Branch Soapworks. I've been working on my new labels. This isn't the whole label, just the front so I'm still working on the design of those.

Thank you for your help everyone. The leafy stuff is just for a specific design. Mardi Gras is coming in March so these are for Mardi Gras. I've been trying to figure out the best designs. Like the one attached for my bath bomb labels. If you click on it, you'll see the whole design I was considering.

So I've changed my bath bomb labels to only words because there's so much less space on the labels than on my soap ones and it looks better. But I'll keep the gator and words on the soap labels because there's alot more space on them based on your suggestions.
